Description
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Project In Charge (Site Engineer) to oversee the execution of aluminum and glazing works on site. The successful candidate will coordinate project activities, supervise site personnel, and ensure that all installations meet project specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
This role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients.
Job Summary
The Project In Charge is responsible for managing specific portions of aluminum and glazing projects. The role includes site supervision, coordination with contractors and engineers, monitoring installation progress, and ensuring compliance with project requirements and safety standards.
The candidate will also provide technical guidance to the installation team and help resolve any site-related issues to maintain smooth project operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise daily site activities related to aluminum and glass installation works
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and suppliers
• Monitor project progress and ensure timelines are met
• Ensure work quality complies with design specifications and company standards
• Provide technical support and guidance to installation teams
• Maintain proper documentation and site reports
• Ensure safety protocols and construction regulations are followed
Qualifications
• Graduate of BS Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
• Professional license is preferred but not required
• Preferably 1–5 years of experience in construction, engineering, or aluminum/glazing projects
• Strong understanding of construction processes and site coordination
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
